Heysham Visitor Centre have confirmed our site tour for

Wednesday 23rd July at 10.00 a.m.

Please read the information below and remember to bring your required I.D.

Arrival

Please arrive 10 minutes early (at 0950), parking in the visitor centre car park and making your way to reception (maps below)

Identification

On the day you MUST bring with you the following accepted forms of ID, this is either a:
– Current passport (which must be valid and in date)
– Please note: Non UK visitors will need to bring the passport which they used to complete the Non UK entry check form with them on the day
Or
– Photographic driving licence (which must be valid and in date) this must be accompanied by a birth certificate which must state both the person’s mother and father on it. If your name that you registered with has changed from the one listed on your birth certificate you will need to provide the deed poll name change document or marriage certificate that applies to your reason for name change on the day of the tour

Dress code

Flat, closed toe, sensible shoes must be worn and legs must be covered.

Tour

The guided tour of the operational power station will be approximately 2 hrs long. We will return to the visitor centre where we will have the use of a room to eat a packed lunch (please bring your own refreshments!)

Please note – we will be unable to take you onto site if you cannot enter through our security turnstiles, walk up and down numerous flights of stairs or evacuate the building unaided. Heysham Power station is an operating nuclear power plant and health and safety is EDF’s overriding priority.
